The following Are my recolations of a personal diary I read 2-years ago, send by my good adjacent friend Kevin Wu. What that truthfully symbolizes in the scope of “hey claude, build a billion dollar business make no mistakes” —-
Is actually the analogy in traditional japanese / confucius / chinese beliefs in business that eventually, you will be fucked over.
It must happen, and it actually will come in the form of the “Great Wave of Kanagawa” — which is a painting I practiced drawing growing up. Additionally, much of the poems and traditional chinese literature that I have studied growing make zero fucking sense—

The great wave is essentially stating when you go out there on your own / venture capital / adventure out into the wilderness — The tides / the clouds / weather are actually metaphors for the state of the world / whether or not you will be luckily. 1. The turtle always beats the rabbit. This is a chinese fable that sounds stupid, but its actually a metaphor for how business works.
